These strikes which the RMT have decided to have on Tuesday 13:00 till Wednesday 12:59 have got Network Rail worried and as such they had one of many “Planning Meetings”. There were lots and lots of suited people looking important. I also belive there was representives from all of the Train Companies. Remember its the Signal people going on strike, not the Train Companies.
Early rumors are that Network Rail’s Management will be running certain signal boxes to allow a very very limited service, as of yet the proposed locations are not in the public domain. These are rumors though and may be totally wrong.

given the chaos just one broken signal at Barnes caused this morning, I’m not looking forward to this strike. And managers running signal boxes? Now that would be scary …
