Coincident with the renaming of ONE to National Express East Anglia, the cheapest advance fares between Norwich and London -- £6 -- are now DOUBLE, at £12. Isn't this treacherous rise worthy of a little more press?

I don't see the exact point here. Surely it's commonly known that using ORCATS NXEC don't get the full fares on normal tickets, but its split between operators at that station.

It's in NXEC's interest to offer more cheap tickets as then they get 100% of the ticket price. So FCC won't get a penny from NXEC Advance. But FCC will get a share if say a ticket was bought on the day at Peterborough. As will whoever else operates at Peterborough.
